I've been listening in to you folks for a month or two and someone tell me if I'm on the right track as far as what prices you all have been negotiating with your dealers. TC25D base price $11,500TC29D base price $12,500TC33D base price $13,500 A NH loader (model 7308) goes for $3,049-$3,100 A 60" belly mower goes for about $2,100 Super steer costs $1,550 Dealer should let you choose turfs/R4s or AgsThis is kinda of a consolidation of a whole bunch of your posts and I'm hoping these are prices I can start with when I go in to seriously bargain. They are way lower than what I was first quoted on a quick drive by stop in.Let me know where I'm high or low so I can be as informed as the dealer (or as best as we can hope for).

Jill,
I bought the TC29, not the TC29D, but for my purposes I did not think that the hydro transmission in the 29D was worth the $. Like I wrote to Nathan in Texas I called 10 dealers in my area, SW PA, and prices varied $2,000 on the TC29. However, from what I could tell the dealer had between $11,250 and $11,500 in the tractor. This tractor was a TC29, 4wd, live PTO, folding ROPS, with industrial tires. I got the price down to $11,900 for just the tractor. Keep in mind dealers can move in price, in addition to making money from the consumer they receive a percentage from New Holland for selling the tractor. A car dealer works the same way. If you choose a model with hydro add approximately $1,500 to $1,800 to the price. Also, if you move up in HP, 29 to 33 add about $800. I also found it beneficial NOT to let the dealer negotiate mower, loader, etc attachments prices at the same time you're bickering on the tractor price. They will mix/match and fudge numbers to confuse you. An example is one dealer offered the above mentioned tractor to me for $13,800 and a Landpride FD2560 finish mower for $1,000. He was about $500 under on mower price, but was over $2,000 on the tractor. Good Luck hope I helped. Jason. ....

All,

I just purchased the TC33D w/SS FWD, 7308 loader with HD bucket and bolt on cutting edge and the 72" 914a mid-mount mower. Final price, $20,185. I purchased it from the NH dealer in elizabethtown PA. I am actually going to pick it up tomarrow 6/30. I was guessing the price breakdown to be $3050 for the loader, $2400 for the mower and $14550 for the tractor, and a $130 upcharge to get the bolt on cutting edge and $50 to go from the standard bucket to the heavy duty bucket.

Hope this helps.

Mark ....

Jill and Others: No luck yet - I've had a dealer get down to $13,300 for the TC29D and $14,200 for the TC33D (he said his cost was $14,055 for the TC33D)- still about $500-$600 more than some of the prices I've seen discussed here. So....I'm still working on it, maybe this month. The loader is $3050 to $3100, but most dealers will try for $3200 to start. Let me know how you are making out with prices. ....

I ended up at $16500 for a TC33D w/SuperSteer & 7308 loader + minor bells & whitles. This was in SE Ohio & I would not expect to match it but consider it a target. ....
